COMPUTER LAB!!!
Today we practiced angles and 3D and 2D shapes on Bitesize Math. The 2D shapes game was called "The Legends of Dick and Dom: 2D shapes". In that game we had to answer a various number of questions. When all the puzzles are done a door opens and there you can choose a special bottle. The 3D shape game is a futuristic game about getting rid of the bad guys by answering questions. The angles game was based on robots taking over the world. You have to defeat them by solving angle problems. These games will help me a lot on the CST testing. These games are helping me with my math a lot. For example, I really didn't get this one angle problem but with a little explaining I was able to answer it. I'm hoping we get to do things like this next week in Tech Lab.

COMPUTER LAB!!!!!!!!!!!
Today in computer lab we got to review math subjects like, the measures of central tendency, diagrams, and probability. One game is called The Legend of Dick and Dom which focuses on frequency diagrams. Another is a mean, median, mode, and range challenge called Bamzooki. But, my favorite would have to be another Bamzooki which would was on probability. In the game you got to type in the chance of a creature winning a race, and if you got it right there would be bonus rounds. I really like the game because it helps improve my math and preps me for the future. I wonder what's in store for next week.

Computer Lab!
Today in Computer Lab everyone had a chance to review all of the math we had learned this year. We got to engage in activites and tests on algebra, shapes, and so on. Although the activites we're REALLY fun, I enjoyed the math games at the end of lab. I liked Ice Ice Maybe with the diving penguins. I was really excited to see a tiny computer being made and the fact that its was only $35!! Today was a fun, but educational, tech lab. I can't wait to see what's happening next week!!

The Sea of Monsters 297 pages

The novel The Sea of Monsters, written by Rick Riordan, is a thrilling and adventurous book. This piece of writng kept me on my toes from the moment I started reading.I was anxious throughout the entire book because, there is suspense after EVERY chapter, and practically on every page. If anyone ends up reading this book (which I recommend you do!)be prepared for the biggest cliff-hanger you have ever read! I am so excited to read The Titan's Curse.

Computer Lab
Today's copmuter lab was educational and helpful. We went to websites such as Wonderopolis and E-Learning for kids. Which are sites that students to learn things on your own. On Wonderopolis there were videos on the aglet, yodeling, and how to speak in code. Also, on E-Learning for kids there were games that help people with their math and language arts. The most interseting site for me was the comic strip site that explained certain tasks through comic strips, not the traditional video. These websites helped and encouraged me to try things on my own. I will certainly be visiting these sites again.
