Computer Lab

Today I played a game that had to do with helping world hunger. There were 6 missions, or stages, in order to get food to the villages. I really enjoyed the feeling of helping the world like that, even though it's a game. My favorite round was when we had to drive the vans to the camp, and pass the obstacles. Then after that was done you had to pass out food packages, which help the village thrive. I was cool how there were crops, a school, base, medical center, and more. I really enjoyed this computer lab and the games in it.

Computer Lab!

Today in Computer Lab everyone had a chance to review all of the math we had learned this year. We got to engage in activites and tests on algebra, shapes, and so on. Although the activites we're REALLY fun, I enjoyed the math games at the end of lab. I liked Ice Ice Maybe with the diving penguins. I was really excited to see a tiny computer being made and the fact that its was only $35!! Today was a fun, but educational, tech lab. I can't wait to see what's happening next week!!

The Sea of Monsters 297 pages

The novel The Sea of Monsters, written by Rick Riordan, is a thrilling and adventurous book. This piece of writng kept me on my toes from the moment I started reading.I was anxious throughout the entire book because, there is suspense after EVERY chapter, and practically on every page. If anyone ends up reading this book (which I recommend you do!)be prepared for the biggest cliff-hanger you have ever read! I am so excited to read The Titan's Curse.

Computer Lab

Computer Lab

Today's copmuter lab was educational and helpful. We went to websites such as Wonderopolis and E-Learning for kids. Which are sites that students to learn things on your own. On Wonderopolis there were videos on the aglet, yodeling, and how to speak in code. Also, on E-Learning for kids there were games that help people with their math and language arts. The most interseting site for me was the comic strip site that explained certain tasks through comic strips, not the traditional video. These websites helped and encouraged me to try things on my own. I will certainly be visiting these sites again.
